Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Pango Coach ("we", "us") collects when you use the Pango hub website, the Pango Discord bot, the Icarus strat board, the VOD review tool, and the Valorant Custom Match Tracker (together, "the Services"), and how that data is used.

1. What we collect

Account data (hub website)

When you sign in with Discord we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, and avatar through Discord OAuth. We never see your Discord password. A session cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days.

Team and content data

Teams you create or join, strategies and drawings saved on your team's strat board, VODs you add (YouTube links), and timestamped notes you write are stored on our server and are visible only to members of your team.

Discord bot data

When a server admin links a Discord server to a team, we store the server (guild) ID and name. When you use slash commands, the bot processes the content you submit (questions, match JSON files) to generate a response. When the bot is invited into a voice channel with /join, it transcribes speech in that channel to provide live coaching and round reviews — only while it is in the channel, and everyone in the channel can see it there.

Match data

Match JSON files you upload for analysis are processed to generate reports. The desktop tracker app talks only to your local Riot client and saves match files to a folder you choose on your own computer — it does not upload anything to us automatically.

2. How we use data

• To operate the Services: logins, team access, strat boards, VOD notes, bot responses.
• To generate AI coaching output: voice transcripts, questions, and match data are sent to our AI providers (OpenAI for speech-to-text, xAI for analysis) to produce responses. These providers process the data under their own terms.
• To keep the Services working: basic technical logs (errors, timestamps) for debugging.

3. What we don't do

• We do not sell your data. Ever.
• We do not show ads or share data with advertisers.
• We do not read your Discord messages outside of commands directed at the bot and DMs you send to the bot.
• We do not access your Riot account — the tracker connects only to the Riot client running on your own machine.

4. Sharing

Your content is shared only with your team (strats, VODs, notes) and your Discord server (bot responses posted in channels). Infrastructure providers we rely on: Cloudflare (network proxy), Discord (login and bot platform), OpenAI and xAI (AI processing), YouTube (VOD playback). We share data with them only as needed to provide the Services.

5. Retention and deletion

Team data is kept while your team exists. Voice transcripts are kept only as long as needed to produce round and match summaries. You can ask us to delete your account, your team, or any content at any time — contact us on Discord and we'll remove it.

6. Security

Data is stored on our own servers, transferred over HTTPS, and passwords for strat-board logins are stored as bcrypt hashes. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we keep the attack surface small.

7. Children

The Services are not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required by Discord in your country). Don't use the Services if you're under that age.

8. Changes

If this policy changes materially we'll note it on this page with a new "last updated" date.
